Today was the worst day in a long long time...
Joe, my couchsurfing host told me yesterday that he needs his couch today... Alright I thought and sent out three requests yesterday for another couch. Everything I got by this morning was one negativ answer. So I decided to post a request in the "Emergency Couch LA - Group" and recieved two really nice answers from people that could host me from tomorrow on but just not for tonight...
Last option: Ryan, who's housewarming party I went to yesterday. As we talked about my plans in LA etc, he offered me their livingroom couch. So I wrote him and he said I could crash on their couch, but he wouldn't be home till 7. So I set in a cafe from 3 in the afternoon waiting for the hours to pass. At 7 I got another message from Ryan saying that nobody's gonna be home till 10...
Another 3 hours to kill...
Some of you may wonder why I didn't get a hostel straight away. Because most where in another area than my couch for tomorrow and cause I've been to froogle to spend 32 dollars on a dormbed if I could get a couch for free just killing 4 hours... and now - after 7 - it really doesn't make sense any more to get a hostelbed (and probably all of them are booked anyway...).
So here I am trying to kill some more time and as soon as possible forget about this waste of a day...
As I said, life sometimes sucks...

Oliver
