Thailand's curios...

There are a few things in Thailand you really have to wonder about...
for example
* trasport:
a taxi to the train station 60 baht (around 1,30 Euro)
a train from Bangkok to the Cambodian border (5 hours) 48 baht (around 1,00 Euro)

* food and accomodation
a night in a single room with bathroom 190 baht (4, 20 Euro)
a meal in a restaurant - green curry with vegetables and rice for 45 baht in Bangkok (1 Euro) and for 115 on Ko Tao (2,50 Euro)

a fresh pinapple in a fruit stall on a street corner 10 baht (20 cent...)
Pringels in a supermarket 60 baht (1,30), at a petrol station 160 baht (3, 50)

Food is two to three times more expensive on an island as it is in bangkok but accomodation doesn's vary that much.
